Canada-UK Symposium features impressive list of speakers
The speakers list for Livres Canada Books’ fourth annual symposium in Frankfurt will feature a number of high-profile experts on sales, rights, and digital publishing in Canada and the UK. Confirmed speakers include Faber and Faber sales and marketing director Will Atkinson, BookNet Canada president Noah Genner, The Publishers Association (UK) chief executive Richard Mollet, Bloomsbury Publishing managing director Evan Schnittman, and Harlequin Mills & Boon general manager Clare Sommerville.
They will be joined by speakers familiar to Canadian publishers, including Dundurn Group vice-president Beth Bruder, QA International publisher and vice-president Caroline Fortin, Éditions Caractère’s Guy Frenette, who will act as moderator, Douglas & McIntyre’s Scott McIntyre, House of Anansi Press rights director Lisa Nave, ANEL executive director Richard Prieur, and Second Story Press publisher and president Margie Wolfe.
