The Frankfurt Book Fair is “the world’s largest marketplace for trading in publishing rights and licenses,” hosting publishers, agents, distributors, wholesalers, booksellers and librarians from around the globe.
Over 70 Canadian publishers attend this fair annually, selling publishing/translation rights to and arranging distribution for many outstanding titles every year. Canadian publishers meet around the clock on the Canada Stand, with agents from over five continents negotiating new business ventures, finalizing contracts, and strengthening current business partnerships.
