I Can't Get You Out of My Mind
Description
Ariadne, a single, fortysomething writer embroiled in an affair with a married man, is writing a book about what it means to say, “I love you. ” To make ends meet while writing, she joins a research study in which she’s paid to live with an AI device, but the study quickly enters uncharted territory. Apostolides’ latest brings into question issues of privacy and consciousness: how we communicate our thoughts, what it means to embody our desires, and whether we ought to act on them.
