About the Author

R. Peter Milroy has worked in book and periodical publishing for over forty years, most prominently as the director of UBC Press which he led for 22 years. He also served as president of the Canadian Publishers Council Education Group, the Association of Canadian University Presses, and the Association of American University Presses. In 2013 he set up Chapel Green Communications, a publishing consultancy whose recent projects have included work for the Association of Canadian Publishers, eBOUND Canada, SaskBooks, University of Manitoba Press, and the International Development Research Council.
