« Je suis assis à quelques mètres d'elle maintenant qu'elle a fini son appel. Je voudrais lui dire que je suis près du bonheur quand je suis avec elle en train de regarder une vidéo idiote à la télé. Cependant, je ne dis rien. La question qui jaillirait de sa bouche serait pourquoi ne pas être dans le bonheur ? Et je me sentirais contraint de lui avouer que je ne l'ai pas encore trouvé, que je le cherche. Je serais contraint d'admettre par conséquent que le bonheur, j'y ai goûté avec la naissance de Freddy et puis la sienne. Qu'être avec Joanna fut aussi être près du bonheur au début.
