Small Predators
La description
Small Predators combines prose, lists, poetry, and structural experimentation to tell the story of a collective of student activists as they cope with the aftermath of a violent political act carried out by Mink, a member of their collective. Fellow collective member Fox’s narration takes a surreal path recounting Mink’s addiction to self-harm, a violence motivated by the guilt of privilege and a method of coping with political vulnerability.
Reviews
A master of descriptive imagery and pathetic fallacy, Ilse Black takes the reader into every nook and cranny of Fox's mind, leaving no stone unturned in this heavy, but insightful page-turner. - Ramisha Fraooq, Broken Pencil
