Jeanette Lynes' first novel, The Factory Voice (Coteau Books) was long-listed for the Scotiabank Giller Prize and a Re-Lit Award. Her seventh poetry collection, Bedlam Cowslip: The John Clare Poems (Wolsak and Wynn/Buckrider Books) received the 2016 Saskatchewan Arts Board Poetry Award. A recent Visiting Fellow at Bard Graduate Center in New York City and the University of Edinburgh's Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities, Jeanette directs the MFA in Writing at the University of Saskatchewan. She lives in Saskatoon.
