It highlights the challenges faced by women as educators, leaders, and learners as well as the remarkable contributions of individual women along the road to knowledge, empowerment, and social change. This important work showcases the enduring contributions of these Canadian women and will ensure that their legacy is recorded for future generations of adult educators and leaders. There has never been a volume of work documenting the initiatives and accomplishments of women in adult education and leadership in Canada. This edited volume seeks to redress this imbalance.
