Cry Wolf

On the True Nature of a Predator

La description

Harold Johnson grew up on a northern trap line where he often encountered wolves. In Cry Wolf he re-tells the story of a 2005 wolf attack which left 22-year-old Kenton Carnegie dead. Johnson draws on his experience as a Crown Prosecutor to forensically examine the killing. In his telling, the blame rests less with the wolf than the government and its environmental policies. Johnson believes Indigenous teachings could have saved a life and restored the wolf to its honoured place.
