Award-winning author Kristin Butcher, was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and eventually settled in Victoria, B.C. with her husband Rob. Educated as a teacher, Kristin attended the University of Victoria and the University of Winnipeg. She has taken courses in painting and writing from the University of Manitoba, and hopes one day to illustrate the covers of her books. An accomplished writer, she has seven published works.
