Livres Canada Books conducted a Trade Mission to Morocco from June 1–5, 2023 to attend the Salon International de l'Édition et du Livre (SIEL), meet with key industry players in the sector (over 50 meetings), and gain a better understanding of the book market in Morocco.
  
As with every mission, the delegation has prepared a list of Canadian publishers comprising resource persons for rights sales and distribution. A follow-up webinar was also held in which the delegation presented recommendations for the best way for Canadian publishers to establish connections with trading partners in this market.
