Livres Canada Books, in collaboration with the Embassy of Canada in Mexico, the Trade Commissioner Service, and International Trade at Canadian Heritage, is supporting the presence of Canadian publishers in Guadalajara this year. Canada Stand exhibitors can register for free at this year’s edition of the Fair.
The Guadalajara International Book Fair is the most important publishing event in Ibero-America. In 2022, 2,173 exhibitors from 49 countries and more than 14,197 international professionals participated.
Exhibiting on the Canada Stand is your opportunity to sell and buy rights, generate new contacts, strengthen existing relationships, and discover new business opportunities.
Note that space on the stand is limited to 16 publishers who will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.

OPEN FOR BUSINESS
The Canada Stand is always a popular destination for exhibitors at international book fairs. The 36 m2 centrally-located and open-concept stand features colorful graphics and ample display space sure to draw in visitors.
ALL-INCLUSIVE SERVICE
Livres Canada Books takes the worry out of exhibiting overseas. We work with fair service providers to handle paperwork, logistics, and promotion, so you can concentrate on business and maximize your time at the Fair.
The Embassy of Canada to Mexico will retain the services of a publishing consultant to help schedule appointments.
HALF STAND WITH SHARED TABLE – FREE
- The Half Stand package includes:
- 1 exhibitor pass per sharing exhibitor
- 1 table and 4 chairs (shared with partner exhibitor)
- 4 display shelves per sharing exhibitor (1 metre wide each)

- regular updates on important information as the opening date nears

We will consider organizing a consolidated shipment if there is sufficient interest.
Other Stand/Literary Agents Centre
Publishers exhibiting on their own stand or on their distributor's stand, and those working from the Literary Agents Centre, are encouraged to register with Livres Canada Books. Registration is free and includes listings in the Canada Stand directory and on the Livres Canada Books website, and regular information bulletins about the fair as the event nears. Just remember to select "Other stand/Agents Centre" on the registration form.
Publishers exhibiting on their own stand are reminded that they are responsible for making all arrangements directly with the fair authorities and/or service providers for space rental and stand furnishings, exhibitor passes, listings in the fair catalogue and shipping.
Registration
Space on the Canada Stand is limited to 16 publishers who will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.
Publishers interested in exhibiting on the Canada Stand should fill out the registration form on the Livres Canada Books website.
Registration is effective upon receipt of the registration form.
Any additional furnishings or accessories (including badges) will be charged back to the exhibitor (prices available on request).
Prices are in Canadian dollars, based on current exchange rates. Livres Canada Books reserves the right to adjust prices in case of any significant devaluation of the Canadian dollar.
