The London Book Fair

The Tower Bridge and Financial District of London.

April 18–20, 2023

The London Book Fair is the spring season can’t-miss opportunity to meet publishers, rights managers, distributors, wholesalers, booksellers, and literary agents from around the world. The fair boasts over 20,000 visitors (44% of whom are international), and it is the venue for both maximizing and learning about rights sales given that it simultaneously provides a selling platform to exhibitors from over 60 countries while holding over 120 different seminars and events. Being equally prolific on social media (with a whopping 60,000+ Twitter followers and over 10,000 LinkedIn members), the London Book Fair has its finger on the pulse of current global rights trends and is a must-attend event.

The Canada Stand is once again located in the same prime spot as last year on the ground floor of the Olympia Exhibition Centre in the general trade section.

We have reserved a larger area in 2023 to make it easier for visitors to access your books and give you more space for your meetings.

Let Livres Canada Books take the worry out of exhibiting overseas. We work with fair service providers to handle paperwork, logistics, and promotion, so you can concentrate on your work and maximize your time at the fair.

Your health and safety are of utmost importance to us. We continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic. We will strictly adhere to restrictions and guidelines put forth by local municipal health units and the Government of Canada.

Promotional details on flights through Air Canada will be available shortly.

PIED-À-TERRE $1,600

Publishers have different strategies when it comes to determining the most efficient and cost-effective way to attend a fair. Some prefer walking the floor to set up meetings rather than exhibiting books on their own stand. The pied-à-terre option offers those publishers a shared meeting area with tables and chairs at which to do business.

The Pied-à-terre package includes:

  • 1 exhibitor pass
  • use of the shared meeting area by reservation
  • listing in the official print and online fair catalogue and Livres Canada Books website
  • reception desk service
  • Wi-Fi access
  • and regular updates on important information as the opening date nears

Registration to the Pied-à-terre option is limited to one representative per exhibitor. Use of the shared meeting area is by reservation only.

The Pied-à-terre option does not include signage or display shelving.

DISPLAY TITLE $350/TITLE

Ideal for publishers who can’t attend the fair but still want to exhibit their titles on the Canada Stand, the Display Title option is a great way of testing the market for specific titles. Books are displayed face out, information on titles is given out to all interested visitors, and any leads collected on your behalf are forwarded to you after the fair.

The Display Title package includes:

  • shipping fees included
  • face-out display space for each title
  • collection of business leads

Registration and Payment

Space on the Canada stand is limited and is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Publishers interested in exhibiting on the Canada stand at the 2023 London Book Fair should fill out the registration form and submit payment in full as soon as possible.

Registration is effective upon receipt of registration form. Registration is non-refundable. Exhibitors who cancel their registration remain liable for full payment.

Any additional furnishings or accessories (including badges) will be charged back to the exhibitor. Prices available upon request.

Exchange Rate: Prices are in Canadian dollars, based on current exchange rates. Livres Canada Books reserves the right to adjust prices in case of any significant devaluation of the Canadian dollar.
