Exporting to Slovenia

Exporting to Slovenia

Slovenian culture reflects both Europe’s rich cultural diversity and its own unique and independent identity. Physically and culturally located at the crossroads of various nations, Slovenia is a multilingual nation with a proportionally small population of native speakers. Despite its relatively small size, Slovenia ranks second globally in terms of books published per million residents. And, like many other small, multilingual book industries, the Slovenian book market relies heavily on translations.

Take this opportunity to hear what Slovenia has to offer as a potential export market for your titles.

Topics include:

  • the state of publishing, distribution, and retail
  • licensing, translation, and audio rights
  • co-editions
  • reading and book buying habits
  • market trends and key players
  • the ebook and audiobook markets
  • and much more!
